Help me. Dear MN. I have a lovely pair of white supergra but they're now not white. Help!!

Any other tips much appreciated 😜

Cif cream? Otherwise if you can clean them up so there’s no residue at all on them, you could prep the surface and repaint them using Angelus leather preparer and acrylic paints. I work as a shoe artist and often restore colour and cover scuffs etc.

Soak them in a bowl of diluted Milton

Ah if they’re canvas I’d stick them in the washing machine. They need padding out while they dry so they don’t curl up but I’ve often put converse in the wash and they come out fine.

I put my canvas Superga in the wash with some vanish and they come out beautifully.

Toothpaste on a brush.

Pop them in the washing machine.

If willing to risk it, a very gentle wash in the machine - in a pillowcase and with some towels in the load and obviously rewash these at a higher temperature afterwards! - with Dr Beckmann Glowhite Ultra might well work.

I use a Magic Eraser sponge on the rubber sections of my Converse and they come up beautifully

The pink stuff is pretty good for this, plus I always stick my trainers in the washing machine if they get really grotty
