what colour blind should i have???

Ok boring and totally unimportant question but i just cant make up my mind.
I have a long narrow dining room... approx 8' wide and 16' long. One wall is painted deep red and the others are cream. The window is on the narrow end of the room. I want either a dark red blind and pale curtains or the other way round just cant make up my mind...... i know it is totally unimportant in the scheme of things but i will still be pondering it this time next year if i dont get some help!!

What colour is the wall around it? Cream or is it the red one?

Then I'd say red curtains and cream blind (because you might not be able to get the exact same red to match exactly), and because I think the contrast would look nicer. But that's just my opinion.

(ignore the point about the red matching - I was thinking about that if the wall was red)
