KitchenAid Bread Attachment ?

Just that .... had anyone tried the new bread all in one attachment and bake attachment ?

Just wondering if it was any good at all ?

I couldn't resist - had to look! I don't think I could be tempted. I actually like shaping and baking dough, so I'm not sure I'd end up with anything much different from a quick loaf that I slap on a tray, prove and bake. Most of the bread I bake, and I bake every day is a tin loaf. Then, rolls, focaccia, flatbreads - I don't think we want a round loaf often enough to justify it.

Always up for a new kitchen aid gadget and hadn't seen this one so just had a look

I would like to try one, but not at that price. Tbh I can mix/knead dough perfectly ok in the usual bowl, and not sure what the advantage of a lid is.

Right at the bottom of the page I looked at though are a couple of nice recipes.
