Thanks Jas and Jen I thought I had managed to kill the thread

If no one replies to this have I killed a thread genre?

Well this is all I could find about a Mission for today

Zone 4: Mission #5 Friday

Dear Friends:

Today you are to grab your favorite pj's and settle into bed at least an half an hour earlier than usual with a candle and a great book or magazine and enjoy your beautiful, clean, fresh bedroom. Just take time out to enjoy the treat that you have taken the time out to give to your self.

Have fun!!! Big Hugs to you All!

Kelly

Morning GO

sorry about yesterday DS1 was a real nightmare child.

we had friends staying and he was playing to the crowd and also we went out., so no flying done.

To to

Take tree and decorations down
Hoover
Ironing

Also if my mum is feel up to it - the boys still have not opened the pressies she got them, as she want to be here. She is wallowing in self obsessed pity at the moment and wants to be centre of attention, so is refusing to do anything. I hope she realises that it is out of order to make a 1 and 2 year old wait this long and lets me go and pick her up this am some times, as we need to be in this afternoon for a delivery

Shannaratinsel · 28/12/2007 09:34

Morning all

TMH hope you survive your Mum ok, luckly DS's not too old or i think u would have had a riot on your hands
Grouchy i read that mission earlier and thought, 'I wish'.

Since our cupboard has now been emptied of Christmas presents have to know put all the stuff back into it off our bedroom floor, sorting first of course.

Have started a meet up thread. Hopefully will meet some new winchester mums, as i think am starting to go abit crazy missing more adult female conversation. DS doesn't understand 'chatting' and won't read Men are from Mars... what a fantastic book perfectly describes our current relationship.

Anyway had better get on, am going to my parents tomorrow, am really looking forward to it except DP hates going, haven't reminded him yet as he instantly gets really sulky and bad tempered.

Hope everyone has a good day

gibberish · 28/12/2007 09:35

Morning oscar and tmh

Sorry I haven't been around. Have been busy, busy, busy with visitors etc. Been frantically trying to book our holiday for the past three days (do you know how hard it is to book a city break at this time of the year??) and arrange for FIL to come up to look after the children while we are away.

Anyway, are off to SWEDEN on Sunday yaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!! Coming back Friday. Can't wait!

EHM sorry didnt manage to meet up. Didn't expect things to be so hectic! Had to brave the sales yesterday and buy some jeans and jumpers for taking away. Got to dash out now and get food in for the week for FIL and the girls. Need to get the whole house cleaned (he is staying here) and buy a blow up bed for him. He refuses to sleep in our bed whilst we are away.

Right, better go and get on. Speak to you later!

gibberish · 28/12/2007 09:36

Morning shanna

FunkyGlassSlipper · 28/12/2007 09:52

Morning Guys.

TMH - hope your Mum cheers up a bit.

House is a pit here so need to do some stuff.

BiancaCastafiore · 28/12/2007 10:12

Morning Grouchy, TMH, Gibberish, shanna and FGS

I've not been manageing much computer time either these past few days.
Haven't done a lot of FLYing anyway...did a couple of loads of laundry yesterday and watched a couple of films with the kids (dd loved ET yest pm )
Woke up this morning with a need to get the place straight again so have had a mini-blitz and managed to home several toys, put washing away, dw routine, s&s kitchen, clear out the fridge and hoover downstairs

Hairdresser is due soon and then I have to go into work for a couple of hours to remove the Christmas window display.

Better go and get on. See you later x

FunkyGlassSlipper · 28/12/2007 10:25

what do you guys think?

TheMadHouse · 28/12/2007 11:46

Well I am currenly just sorting the mash for the boys lunch.

I have taken down all the inside decorations (we go away on Sunday and have a party at friends tomorrow and have people sleeping over the next two nights), swept the floor

I am currently fuming with Mum - she is not sure she wants to come round - she is nt well enough (she is). She laid on the guilt re being on her own boxing day and yesterday. well we had guest boxing day and I took the boys shopping yesterday and out for the day. She has stated that she can not handle the children - so what do I do. we are a package they come with me. I do not want (nor do I have the option really) of leaving them with someone.

OK rant Over

JingleyJen · 28/12/2007 12:05

Morning everyone.

TMH you are being brilliant with your mum I have to say I would have got cross with her by now!
Bianca hope your haidressers appointment goes well
FGS I like the idea of the reversable ikea bed that someone suggested but if you want to move them to bunkbeds perhaps the cheapest option is the right one in the short term?
Gibber Very envious of you going to Sweeden!
Shannar no where near winchester sorry - hope you get a result with the meet up thread!
Grouchy - Morning!

Have cleared out DS1's book box and moved the babybooks to DS2's book box - DS1 got lots of new books for Christmas so loads of new stories to learn!

Have also made beef stew for dinner tonight.

Need to finish clearing up after coming back - kind of dumped everything in the sitting room on our return and it now looks like a bomb site!

Anyone got exciting new years resolutions?

Shannaratinsel · 28/12/2007 12:37

Hello again

Bianca do you mean you avoid the 'battle of the hairdressers'?
Jen What book box do u have, as am having big book storage problem. They both also got loads of new books, currently books DS is allowed r on an old open fronted bedside table and the rest are perched on the chest of drawers threatening to collapse in a heap at any moment. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

JingleyJen · 28/12/2007 13:44

I have 2 wickerbasket style book boxes with blue stripey material for DS1 and Spotty mulitcoloured material in DS2. 40cm Deep X 60cm wide x 30cm height

HTH

Since last post have cleaned kitchen and unloaded and reloaded washing machine.

Am going to have a bath and soak in new eczema stuff I got from Dr's yesterday - made a total fool of myself by bursting into tears when he asked how I was feeling! Ooops!

FunkyGlassSlipper · 28/12/2007 13:57

I have a deep bookcase from argos. All of DD1s books go on there in her bedroom.

glitterfairy · 28/12/2007 14:27

Happy christmas everyone and hope the New year brings the cleaning fairy fiends round to your houses with a vengeance. I will be back then.
