Dyson won’t roll over carpet

Our dyson is very difficult to run over our new carpets which are thick pile. Anyone have any recommendations for a vacuum that will work well on thick pile carpets?
I’ve heard shark vacuums are good.

I have a shark upright vacuum, it has adjustable suction control which is great for deep pile carpets. I always had a Dyson before but would never go back after buying the shark vacuum.

I couldn't push my Dyson ball over my new carpets and underlay. I nearly gave myself a hernia trying to vacuum and bought a shark lift away - no problems at all pushing it around.
