Have an old 1980's Rayburn Nouvelle atm (came with house) which does cooking, heating & hot water, love it but re running costs we're considering either a new Rayburn or have heard about Rayburn conversions to electric and then having a combi boiler put in?
Also not ran it through a summer yet, what do others do & what is more cost effective...keeping on through summer or using immersion heater for water, in which case leave immersion on all the time or just put on when needed?
thanks in advance for any advice
