Any help would be much welcomed! A year ago we bought a velvet upholstered bed (my partner was being tight and insisted we don't spend much on the frame but spend more on the mattress).
It came and had a horrible fabric glue smell, you know that fishy type smell. It is an ottoman style bed where the mattress tips up for storage. Since then any clothing which gets stored in there smells fishy. I can still smell it in the room a year on. Is there any way to remove the smell or am I just going to have to buy a new bed? It looks like the entire fabric base must have been glued on as it stinks!
