How do you clean your hard floors?

We have Amtico downstairs.

We have a bissel crosswave but it's noisy and heavy and slow - it's great for a thororugh clean but with 2 small kids and a cat and 2 adults I need something that can just get the worst off. But I don't want more bloody cleaning clutter.

What do you do?

I Hoover then use a mop (boiling water from the kettle and wring the mop out really well) before I shuffle over it with an old bath sheet to make sure it doesn’t streak.

How do you clean your mop? Does it get grim?

I do much the same as PP above. I throw the mop head in the washing machine each time it's used. That way it's definitely grim

Sorry definitely NOT grim!

I have a robot hoover and robot mop. Change the pad after certain rooms and do them frequently. Works a treat
