EBay is a pain to list and post
Facebook buyers are flakey
Car boot sales are freezing this time of year and don't even seem to be that many of them

I have "clutter" that I know would be another's treasure and thus is worth something : where can I go and "realise" the money?

Ebay is fine for smaller things with the app I find.

What are you wanting to sell? I either do Facebook or just give it to a charity shop.

Lambtales · 15/01/2022 15:29

I use both Facebook and eBay. I prefer Facebook as there's no fees to pay. EBay take 12.8% of each sale.

I've never had any problem selling on Facebook and always get the top price.

Make sure you clean and test the item and make sure you're honest in listing the condition and take lots of good pictures.

Best price you'll get on eBay.
I dunno what sells on Facebook -- doesn't sell for me.

I am in the same boat. Just reading another thread about a poster whose kids have so many toys.. and that's how I feel too. Just want to purge but feel
Dreadful about all the waste

Everything in my house used to be money 🤨😩😱
