I have got started on my morning routine and left DH in Bed.

DS1 is very chesty again and on the steriods, so he is a hyper bunny and given me a stinking cold - but it is Christmas

Todays List

Need Milk, Tissues and Kitchen Roll
Crib Service at Church
Mum coming for Tea
Must Hoover and Mop
Wash cars (how do they get so mucky)
Final ironing
Sprinkle raindeer food on drive wit DS1
Put pressies in piles tonight

I have a list fo rtoday too, but none of it is too much a a chore~
~send dh to supermarket for last bits he's gone already
~wrap presents for dh with kids
~meet friends at park
~clean bedding on beds
~get kids to tidy their rooms so Santa doesn't trip over
~quick tidy, hoover and mop
~candle-light service at church
~friends round for mince pies
~Sprinkle reindeer dust on drive with kids (thanks Luda)
~sort clothes for tomorrow (rest of ironing can wait)
~Put pressies in piles

I procrastinate as I'm still in bed I've had an imaginary snowball fight with Ed and I'm sure he's badgerring DH for hot chocolate

I have to clean up the bedroom with the dds, and wrap the last few presents (also from dp)

I have no food planned for todays tea. Ooops. The fridge iscrammed with food, so dp can survive on cheese i think

Have we all got the meat out of the freezer for tomorrow?

No mission here....mybedroom is currently exacly the same size as the bed so no room for rubbish

Clean downstairs cloakroom
Put on my sparkly nail varnish

Watch David Copperfield tonight (the Dickens one not the scary weird 80's magician)

Better get the slow cooker out (lamb hot pot)

Off for a shower and to start list

Also need to dig out my Christmas music cd (normally listen to the radio, but XFM have an embargo on Crimble music this year.. bah humbug!)

ohh, I have nothing for supper this evening either...erm....pasta...?....

Bianca sorry I didn't get to chat, my MSN is giving me gip, then I fell asleep hugging DS, who has a bad cough (typical!)

Well kids are hyper this morning!! I am going to have to find plenty to do to occupy them!

We have pasta bolognese for supper tonight...
And christmas music galore here too...except DC are watching DR Who at the mo, but later we will be singing along

I like your list B...mine is similar! Don't forget to hang the stockings out, and put santa's mince pie!

We're off to the park soon so my list will have to wait till after lunch.
Ds is going out with a friend this afternoon so dd wants to have a bath and be pampered for a bit while he's out of the way (I have sparkly nail polish for her and some sickly sweet bubble bath )

Beds are stripped and 1st set of bedding in in wm
Have had numerous phone calls from dh in supermarket!
I'm dressed, kids are not so we'd better get a move on.

Happy Christmas Eve everyone, doubt whether will be on tomorrow morning.

Have finally made the soup, so we now have a change from sandwiches for lunch
DS is having a nap so am going to hoover living room now and DC's room when he wakes up.
Am then going to do a toy cull, explained to DD about lots of new toys coming tomorrow so she should be ok.
Off to friends after lunch fro their DC's birthdays, both in December.

Bianca love that tracking Santa, this year dd doesn't like santa, but will remember for next year.

Better go and get the hoover out.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I have done my shopping and it was really quite, now we are going to wash the car and go for a walk before lunch - fishcake and waffles with carrots

Oh thanks B I'd forgotten all about that! (crikey was it really a year ago we last did it!!??)

Well I have done a quick last minute Spar shop, done some washing, DH is lying on the sofa feeling "fragile", we are waiting for something good to come on the tv...The Snowman is on Channel 4 at 1.50pm, so we'll all sit and watch that.

I have tidied round, all needs hoovering (I'm hoover obsessed, so trying to resist...the crumbs are making me twitch though...)

Toy cull is a good idea, we shall be tidying the kids bedroom at some point to make sure there is plenty of room, and like B , so Santa doesn't trip!

(I'm talking about tracking santa there...incase anyone wondered!)

Luda, the snowman sounds good - we have it on DVD but will try to sit and watch it with dd while we wrap pressies for dh

Had a lovely time at the park (bit chilly though!)
Just the clearing up to do and the pampering of dd once ds goes out.

We're hoping to watch the Snowman too. DD1 has never seen it

dd LOVES the snowman and always cries at the end. She's a sentimental little soul, my dd

Mine have never seen it either...we tried to watch a version off youtube last week but they were more intersted in all the other stuff on there, I think if they sit down in front of the tv, they might be more interested.

They are all upstairs with DH tidying!

Beds are changed, loft is emptied of presents, dds room is lovely and clean, as is the kichen.

Chicken and rice for the dds for tea. Cheese for me

I've done most things I wanted to do for today so am feeling pretty relaxed now
The house looks nice, everywhere looks lovely and clean and tidy and Christmassy(except spare room - present stash- and utility room - full of ironing!)

Just going to feed the kids and get ourselves dressed up ready to go to carol service then we're having some friends back for mince pies
