Toddler dd has this little armchair from IKEA that she never really sits in, it seems to have become the place she throws herself dramatically when she has a tantrum Hmm As a result it now has lots of little tear stains which look horribly like wee (they’re not!) Any idea how I can get them out? I’m guessing it’s the salt in the tears that’s made it stain the way it has?

According to Google search OP, the concensus appears to be, mix equal parts white vinegar and water and spray the stains. Leave for 20 minutes, then blot dry with kitchen roll.
I have never used this technique so can't say how well, or otherwise, it works.
I feel quite sad that your little girl has a seat for "weeping".Wink

No helpful advice re the cleaning but I have images of your daughter thrown across the chair like Ariel sobbing on a rock Grin

I think you might be in for fun teen years OP, although you'll need a bigger armchair.

Have you tried the vanish oxi action stain remover spray ? It works really well on my really light sofa

I think a steamer would get that out. Can be picked up relatively cheap (mine was £20, although I know not everyone has that) and are good for all sorts of cleaning.

@BrandNewFor2022 that’s as accurate a picture as you’ll get Grin. She does tend towards the dramatic yes, which I’ve been assured, please god, will mean a very easy teenager. Thanks for all the tips everyone, I think I’ll try a steamer first, the vinegar makes me worry. And then I’ll cover the damn thing with a throw
