Hello,

Im sorry for such a boring post but I need a new detergent and softener combination for my washing. Although my clothes always smell clean, they don't smell of anything (if that makes sense 😂). Please hit me with your recommendations (I'm UK based)

Thanks Smile

What are you using at the moment? I have sensitive skin so my choices are limited
Currently using tesco own non-bio and sensitive fabric softener . Not a really strong smell but my skins hasn’t reacted

I like SMOL. The fabric conditioner is made without animal fat, the capsules are delivered through your door and all packaging is recyclable. Not a super strong fragrance, but it always smells nice when when it comes out of the machine.

I use whatever cheap, supermarket own brand non bio is on offer with Comfort conditioner, the yellow one, Sunshine days I think it's called, keeps everything smelling lovely for ages, even bedding that's folded and put away for weeks still smells nice when used

I love the smell of the strawberry comfort softener.

I use mainly SMOL washing capsules plus Persil or Arial for towels/bedding. Fairy fabric conditioner smells lovely I think.

I love the Method liquid and softener. Personally like the pink liquid and purple softener the best as a combo.

I use Bold capsules. The smell lasts ages (which probably isn't a good thing really!). I should ask my colleague - she always smells lovely

I use eco bio d, not very scented both liquid and conditioner.

Linen Zoflora

Ariel and blue or yellow lenor.

A fave of mine (apart from the Arial for most loads and the Fairy non-bio for the dog stuff and the things that don't want fabric conditioner) are Ace bleach (for the whites and for the colours) in with the main wash and laundry sanitiser/cleanser in place of the fabric conditioner. The laundry sanitiser really pushes out the stinks of all sorts, especially my stinky dogs' stinks LOL
