standard kitchen spray and a microfibre cloth should get finger prints or wash with washing up liquid hot water and a cloth

I feel your lain. I wish id never had them but hey ho. Best thing ive found is damp cloth and a solution of watered down washing up liquid. Then buff with a microfibre cloth. Sometimes takes a couple of go’s. Its not dirt is it? It’s just the natural grease on fingers I think. Might be because mine a re carbon coloured but they are really noticeable Shock

BamberGascoine · 03/01/2022 20:36

I used that because that’s what the fitter used. Ive also tried elbow grease and probably flash with bicarb but they aren’t any better

Sideswiped · 03/01/2022 20:47

Try Cif actifizz spray.

Ohmycron · 03/01/2022 21:52

thanks
I read somewhere half vinegar and water
you def need to buff dry

Glass cleaner. Our cleaner pretty uses a bottle a week cleaning non glass items. Seems to work though!

Microfibre cloth and glass cleaner spray. If in doubt buff off with a dry microfibre cloth. Our cleaner used to do it with fairy liquid in hot water and one wet, one dry cloth - it looked effortless.

If you can find glass cleaner with ammonia in it, try that. It works on nearly everything. Favorite brand is the American glass cleaner "Windex."

Thanks. Say we tried the white vinegar spray and it seems okay

Wellhungdonkey · 05/01/2022 21:27

Diluted vanish. The powder you use for stains in your washing machine. It must dissolve the grease but it works. Patch test first just in case.

Method multi surface cleaners. Spray on cupboards directly then wipe with a dry muslin. I swear by muslins, instead of tea towels, so much more absorbent and quicker to dry.

I've found the miracle cleaning product for my Howdens super matt kitchen!
Let me start by saying I was really starting to hate my kitchen after only a few months. the constant smears and finger prints were driving me mad.
But I now have the cure!
Fairy Skip The Soak spray.
Spray the cupboard sparingly, wipe with a wet cloth, wipe with a clean wet cloth and then dry with a microfiber cloth.
It's amazing!!! Game changer.
Good luck!
