New mattress stinks!!!

I got my new bed and mattress at the beginning of December. It still stinks!

I have to change the sheets every couple of days and mattress protector. It has this weird smell, makes me smell of it 🙄.

I aired it today all day with the windows open and it has made no difference. It’s a good quality one, sprung with very little memory foam.

Any ideas?

Sprinkle generously with bicarbonate in the morning and then hoover off in the evening?

I was thinking about doing that but worried it would sink into the fibers and spoil it?
