bit of furniture over it?

I got it out of my MIL's beige carpet using M&S stain remover wipes for carpets and upholstery. They are the ones that smell of lavender and I did use them more or less straight away. Took a LOT of scrubbing though and carpet was beige, not cream.

A little bit I would cut out when dry..

But just because it's Christmas it'll be a big bit won't it?

trawling brain for ideas .. what about nail polish remover wipes rather than the liquid which will spread it every where..

thanks, tis a huge pink smudge now after nail polish remover, vanish, etc.
It's in dd bedroom(her friend spilt it,so I couldn't really go apeshit about it).Have given up on her bedroom tbh.
thanks for your help, think I'll go with the bit of furniture .

I did this!

Blotting not rubbing is key if it's still wet. Use kitchen paper and try to absorb the varnish is at all possible. Then VAnish carpet cleaner for the last bit. Amazingly, there's no stain AT ALL but I think the carpet was an expensive one with that stain protection cover thing (a necessity for us!)
