2am fridge freezer dilemma

For some reason tonight is the night I can't sleep and you know what's keeping me up? Our lack of fridge freezer space.

I used to have a larder fridge and a tall freezer. As we also had a small integrated fridge freezer I downsized to a fridge freezer which meant I still had enough space if you added it all up

Lo and behold the landlord wanted his house back so now we have moved and we don't have that additional space. There is only me, the man and the child however I really struggle with just a fridge freezer. To be honest it's not even a big one I think I might be taller than it at 5ft9. I can't buy meat and then also store leftovers so I've given up batch cooking.

Because we have a busy lifestyle it made sense to cook on a Sunday, eat during the week. Whip out a cottage pie and reheat.

I've literally spent a month trying to work out the best use of money and I have no idea why o am so stuck on this.

I could get another fridge freezer, means my current one doesn't have to go to landfill (missing drip tray so I use an old milk carton). Not particularly convinient as they won't be able to sit next to each other so who will know which one to open.

Or get a larder fridge now, tall freezer later. Or get a freezer now.

I'm stumped on which way round to do it, I guess if this is the top of my problems list then my life must be okay?

Fridge freezer or fridge and freezer.

If fridge and freezer which one to get first (have £350 saved, can get next one in March)

Is it a bigger fridge you want or more freezer space or both? Sounds like the freezer is higher priority. What space do you have?
