Help - candle wax all over my favourite leather boots....

Anyone have any bright ideas for removing a very thin layer of dried candle wax from a leather boot? Some numpty knocked a candle over at dinner last night, splashing the wax all over my foot

Brown paper and a warm iron is the usual method to remove wax.

It's worth a try anyway.

Put in the freezer first...scrape of cracked bits..then brown paper or even better several layers of kitchen towen over the wax and a warm iron till its gone. It might leave an "oily" stain though
