Don't do socks, but do do dh's cotton boxers. He can't wear them crumpled apparently

Sidge · 19/12/2007 21:09

Not socks, but we iron DHs boxers as well as pyjamas, the baby's vests, teatowels, duvet covers... everything except bras and socks really!

(I say we but DH does 99.5% of the ironing so I blame him for being so pernickety!)

nannyL · 19/12/2007 21:13

i iron everything except bras knickers socks and swimming costumes.

micci25 · 19/12/2007 21:15

i iron dp's boxers coz he wont wear them other wise he says they are uncomfortable i used to iron baby vests and pj's too but the amount of ironing i had to do was driving me mad so i stopped that!!!

And I thought I was bad! How many are you? I've got 1 dh & 2 dc. I send out his shirts & all the sheets/duvet covers. The rest I do when I have to but I wouldn't send anyone out in crumpled clothing.

Awenamanger · 19/12/2007 21:22

I dont iron duvets or sheets...

Dont like DP or DS to have crumpled boxers and I iron my knickers (but not lacy ones).. also iron night clothes.

Have new baby due but I havent ironed any of his things.

Please someone say they iron sock sand knickers as dp is watching this thread too and says it is cool no-one else does and it is a ridiculous thing to do (he incidentally doesnt want me to iron his boxers either). Also I am setting up ds's future wife for problems...
