Can anyone recommend a good mop?

I always seem to buy ones that fall apart. They're mostly used on laminate. Also I can never seem to get that 'damp tent' smell out of them. Advice please!

I don't use a mop. I use a hard bristle broom with a wrung floor cloth wrapped round it. The cloth can then go in the washing machine.

I like my Vileda mop.

Thank you for your posts. I suddenly realised that I may look a bit of a saddo with a posting about a mop in amongst the christmas ones.

I use the flash power spray mop - not a mop as such just a flat head you buy replacement heads for therefore no musty mop smell and the solution sits in the mop as well and works with a trigger - flash you can buy it from all the big supermarkets HTH!

Boris Johnson or Shirley Williams

I like my Flash power mop too.

And I have managed to get the top off the bottle so I can refill it myself, saving loadsamoney!!

You need a microfibre one - you can just take the microfibre bits off and sling them in the washing machine. Fab. Will find you one...

This kind of thing - you can buy them in supermarkets too. Or the cheaper option.
