Is this a good deal on goosefeather & down duvets? Never bought one you see...

Realised last night when shivering and cold that we are still using horrid old duvet from student days, so want to upgrade to something lovely and quality and grown up. Saw these duvets and these pillows.

Can someone who knows about these things tell me whether they are any good and if these are a good price? Or suggest an alternative?

It is cheap, but it will be more than 50% feather & not so much down (down is the light-and-fluffy warm stuff)

These are nearly twice the price but are all down apparently.

This one is 90% down - similar price to the previous one - makes me wonder if that one really is 100% down...

Hmm, I got a duvet like that on a Guardian offer and it wasn't very good quality so I had to send it back.

I'd suggest looking in the sales but try to avoid products they've obviously bought in for that reason.

John Lewis sale has loads of duvets at good prices, I bought a half and half one last year for about £50 and its great.
