Gap between range oven and floor

Hi

We’ve recently got a range oven, but there’s now a gap between the bottom of the oven and the floor. Our cats have brought mice in, which then scuttle under there and die, smell and then there’s flies.

I’m hoping the mumsnet hive mind can come up with something we can use to block the gap off

Just here to bump this for you, OP, in hopes someone else has a good idea!

This might not help but ours has a metal plate goes across the front....that the mice can get through...
