Any suggestions for a dishwasher (hotpoint aquarius) that may have a leak internally? It is about 12 years old.
Water seems to be dripping in to the cup at the bottom, filling it and then the dishwasher drains. Happening semi regularly but more frequently over last few days. Even when switched off (but still plugged in and switched on at the wall).
I've checked the cup and outflow and drainage pipe and there is no blockage there. Water doesn't seem to be coming from the spinning arms but instead dripping into the cup.
It's stressing me quite a bit. I'll pull it out and have a look at the water inlet pipe but I'm not sure what it could be. Have googled and everything tells me to check drainage pipe for blockages but its Water filling up rather than not draining.
