(Red) essential oil drops have 'bonded' to the bath. How can I get the stains out?

This is why I hate plastic bathtubs. Unfortunately it came with the house.

I have tried bicarb, washing powder, bleach. The stains won't budge. It's like they are bonded to the surface.
And the stains are red (wintergreen essential oil) which makes it look like I bled all over the bathtub!

Hand sanitiser did not work. Nor did nail polish remover!
I don't know what kind of chemical reaction has made it etch into the surface, it just won't budge!

@onepieceoflollipop

I had this but the stains were dark yellow/pale brown from jasmine essential oil.

I’ve reduced the staining by about half by using the roughest edge of those 4 way nail filing blocks. I can still see it but it used to be really unsightly and obvious - now you have to look more closely.
I’ll post a photo of the block.

It took lots of rubbing over each individual spot, trying not to scour the unaffected surface. It took a long time and several ‘goes’ maybe 15-20 minutes which doesn’t sound long but it is when you’re rubbing! I’m planning to try again to see if I can get more off.

I did extensive googling and tried many other solutions including most mentioned above.

All that scrubbing sounds like too much faff. Does that mean you no longer use oils in the bath?

The scrubbing is a faff but I didn’t want an unsightly bath so for me it was worth it.
I don’t use oils anymore - not the type of pure oil you get in the tiny dropper bottles anyway. Wouldn’t risk it again.
I buy bath bombs or bubble bath now

Hi there
i have essential oil stains on my bath tub from jasmine oil. They’re like hard lumps all over my bath - I’ve tried all the usual but they won’t budge . Rubbing alcohol, sod bic and vinegar, cif, wd40 , alcohol gel, black mould remover , bleach tablets , you name it . Has anyone any suggestions it would be appreciated. Thanks
