How can I de-smell a biscuit tin?

I was given some gorgeous cinnamon biscuits in a really pretty tin.

Biscuits all gone šŸ˜‹ and I’d like to reuse the tin but it really smells strongly.

Is there any way to deodor it?

Bicarb might work?

Pop it in dry?

Put the new biscuits in the tin but in a bag of their own. So the tin has a liner basically.

Good wash and then a good dose of dry bicarb. Leave it in for a week or two and give it a shake every so often

I was going to suggest bicarb too.
I'd tip in a couple of spoonfuls, dry, put the lid back on, and shake every time you walk past. Empty it out in a couple of days, and see if its made a difference.

Yes, bicarb.

Scrunch up newspaper and stuff it in the tin. Leave it 48hrs and it should help take the smell out (it works for Tupperware)
