EHM Sorry you are having a visit again. Just a tip a humidifyer is a great thing makes all the difference re the coughing. Also it pays to remove the olbas and Karcol at night as sometimes they stop them sleeping as the oils are stimulants.

after a difficult night DS1 is not at school today. Hope he will be back on good form for tomorrow's school party.

Have alot of flying to do having not done anything over the weekend.

have bissell'd DS2's carpet after he was sick all over it last night
have done 3 loads of washing - mostly bedding!
have cleaned kitchen unloaded & reloaded DW

need to
ironing
clear study
write thank you cards for birthday pressies
make mincepies
probably do more washing depending on how DS2 gets on with his nap.
Hopefully get the kids out on the fresh air for a while.

Because I am a numpty - I had thought that you were all posting really early in the morning - I had been reading the 07 of the year as the hour of the day - Doh!!!!!!

frothykindofadrink - We all do varying degrees of FLYing, and link direct to the website with the mission on every days thread. I stopped the emails a year ago and just use the thread to keep me going now. I do know what a testimonial is though. Well done for getting yours sent out!

Just finished a stack of ironing whilst ellie had a very unsettled sleep. Ironing out away these are clothes which where washed/dried on Friday & yesterday. Will have to keep on top of washing/ironing this week. Go to my parents on 22nd, then to Scotland on 26th, returning to parents on 31st. Returning home on 5th Jan 08!

ruby sorryto hear your friend was poorly this weekend. Also fights with family members can be awfulf. Last time I had a fight/argument/row with my sister I could have punchedf her little head in. hope it sorts itself out.

Hello All

Thanks for the good wishes for the interview. Sadly, I didn't get the job but I came a very very close second, was complimented on my enthsiasm and my obvious love of working with children, that they feel I would give 110% to any role and to apply for a job anyime.

So that was very positive really, just keep it up and keep banging the applications in.

Today's GrouchyFLY hot spot was the fireplace in the front room. It was really muddled and dusty and dirty and yucky. I washed the mantlepiece, washed the ornaments, cleaned the wedding photo, washed the hearth, cleaned the fire, repositioned the fireguard and, bish bash bosh, job done. It makes the front room look a hell of a lot better.

So today's DONE list is

Up, washed and dressed
Downstairs with washing
Unload DW
Put away
Make breakfast
Serve
Help Ed wash
Give fish oils and nit repellant
Take him to school
Home, Load WM and run
Change to more formal attire
Go to interview
Go to town, buy wrapping stuff and Italian Christmas cakes

I've applied for 3 simillar jobs, got rejected by 2, this was my first interview so, I'm really happy, I know I'm doing the right thing and just to keep going.
