Own brand Washing Powder recommendations?

Trying to cut costs and switch from laundry liquid/liquid tablets to powder.

I picked up a box of Almat powder from Aldi and each time I have used it there is always loads left in a clump in the drawer, regardless of the temperature or cycle I use. Disappointed as I had hoped to switch most of our shopping to Aldi.

Can anyone recommend a good own brand/cheap powder to try?

I don’t find any difference. We switch between own brand non-bio powder from Aldi, lidle, Morrisons and Asda and they’re all pretty much the same.

I like Lidl formil colour bio powder. Currently working our way through a box of sainsburys colour bio powder which also seems totally fine.

Never have any problem with Almat.
I put much less than the box-recommended amount in though.

I put it in the drum. Use Almat or Formil

That issue can be the fault of the machine. I always put powder in the drum because there was always residue left in the drawer. New machine and there is never residue left in the drawer. Same powder.

I put powder straight in the drum.

we use Daz, it was recommended as the best performing budget powder.
