Hi all, we are looking for a good priced but nice cutlery set, we like something that's quite weighty, to hold. Any recommendations please?

We have had them from M&S, it's quite weighty, though the one we have is not on there now as they update them sometimes, I think M&S are what you call mid range for everyday use

My cutlery is from IKEA. I think it was called Dragon

I have this one from Viners which I thought was a bargain. It is quite weighty and sleek www.costco.co.uk/Home-Kitchen/Kitchen-Dining/Viners-Stainless-Steel-Cutlery-Set-34-Pieces/p/209813

What's your budget and preferred style @Mackers123 ?

We have Alessi Nouvo Milano for everyday (think it worked out at £20 per 'set' for each person, see pic) and a canteen of Robert Welch Radford Bright for when we have more people visiting. Both sets are a decent weight, and a curved monobloc style. Would definitely recommend handling the pieces in person to get a sense of weight and distribution.

@SnoopsCaliforniaRoll I got those about 12 years ago when Tesco did the collect stamps for certain items, still my fave set! I think it cost me £10 for 4 of everything, had to buy another cutlery set last week as I was fed up
Of the dishwasher always holding them hostage HmmI got the Habitat hammered steel set from Argos, lovely and heavy really good. Impressed so far

@Lillipops Grin at the dishwasher holding the cutlery hostage - I feel your pain!

Ikea Dragon is a very solid, pleasingly plain cutlery set. Nice to use and last forever. www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/dragon-24-piece-cutlery-set-stainless-steel-90091760/

Try TKMaxx. Got mine in there about 20 years ago and still going strong.

Our “best” cutlery is the monsoon Arthur price range to match our monsoon crockery. They often have it in TKmaxx and it’s gorgeous and we have next cutlery with little hearts on the handles for everyday.

Thanks all, I'll look these suggestions up
