Tomorrow I’m taking mums nets down, was thinking of washing with white vinegar, is that right? Or is it best With baking powder?

I know you can buy these whitener sachets but want to use what’s at home. Thanks!

I just chuck them into the washing machine with my usual laundry powder plus some Vanish.
However, to go back to your question, baking powder and white vinegar together should clean the nets well.

Thanks @PainterInPeril, yeah was thinking just throw in machine with laundry powder too but wanted to get them white. They’re not grubby grey but just not as white. And it’s the bay window where the Christmas tree will be sitting very soon.

I have vanish, why didn’t I think of that.

Thanks again Smile

Can soak them in a bath of cold water with some .880 or household ammonia added. Also works for hairbrushes.

I use soda crystals in with the washing powder.
