Now there's a sentence I never imagined typing...
I've bought an Airwick Freshmatic for the hallway as DDog is now of advanced years and, despite regular baths, isn't quite as fresh as she used to be. I would usually use essential oils but they're just not cutting it.
The instructions say it should be placed at least 2 metres from the ground but there's no shelving etc in the hallway which would allow me to do that. Does anyone know why they stipulate 2m? I was thinking it might be to do with the spray falling more finely from a greater height, in which case I'm not bothered about that as it will fall onto the hallway rug so won't be a slip hazard. If, however, it's because it can cause irritation to eyes/throat etc if inhaled too closely then obviously I need a rethink. I have emailed Airwick too but be grateful for any actual experience of the product!
