Stain on new granite worktop

Please help!
The granite is mottled grey and white and I have found a very dark, almost black mark- caused by butter I think🙄
Any tips? Thank you.

White vinegar, lemon juice and baking soda..mix into a plaster and dab on surface wait a few minutes and wipe
On every single cleaning show they use this homemade method

Does acid not etch granite?

I have granite worktops and nothing stains them, certainly not butter. Are you sure that's what is on it?

Yes- I scraped it off and it left a dark patch.
