Door cleaning on Woodburning stove

I've had a new woodburning stive installed & the door is really black & sooty already & not sure of best way to clean it; had a go with warm soapy water but inly got a small bit off - any ideas very welcome

Use the ash from the fire on a wet sponge, it really works!

I presume you mean the glass in the doors!

I use vinegar on a soft cloth but have been known to use wet wipes (equally effective!)

first, rub the windows down with balled up newspaper, then go over the windows with newspaper and vinegar.

Buff with a clean, dry cloth.

and you have to do it pretty much every day or else it kind of burns on and takes ages and lots and lots of elbow grease to get off

chocolate teapot has one of these and she cleans it with screwed up newspaper dipped in waiter and then in some ash. Its really effective.

If it is really dirty Lakeland and our local stove place sell stuff specifically for cleaning stove glass doors.
