No plans for today, but as it is not raining I think the boys need a walk out to get rid of their boundless energy.

I have rung the hospital and mum is at least sitting on a chair this morning, still on the morphone and got a cathiter (sp) in. Bro is going to take nicotine patch in, so I will visit without the little mimi's once daddy is home.

I still have to wrap all my pressies yet and buy festive food.

It is DS1's nativity this lunchtime so will be going to watch (he only goes to nursery one day a wekk) so does not have a part, just singing.

I'm already making good progress this morning....piggles all cleaned out,
dishwasher sorted, washing machine on, tumble dryer on, fire cleaned out and relit.

Must keep going before I sit here all bloomin morning!!

Morning ALL EHM Great to see you again. Hope all is well for you

OK Jas. The Roadwork bars are as follows

400g Rich tea biscuits
125g butter
3tbs golden syrup
100g marshmallows cut in half
300g chocolate

Melt the butter, syrup and chocolate together in a pan

Put the biscuits into a freezer bag and bash them up with a rolling pin/meat tenderiser/whatever blunt instrument you have

Stir smashed biscuits into melted mixture

Stir in marshmallows, they will melt an d go gooey

Pour mixture into a tray lined with baking paper/greasproof etc

Put in fridge overnight

Take out of tray and cut into slices

I also add rice crispies to the broken biccies and I add sultanas too. If the finished slab is sticky, dust with icing sugar before slicing into bars.

DH still down with the lurgi. He better not give it to me but his coughing and sneezing will probably spread it to the whole town.

Done laods today. DH took all the kids on the school run and I spent the whole time tidying and cleaning the kitchen, dining room and lounge. Hoovered and dusted. Tipped out all the toy boxes and put the toys in the right boxes, phoned the pet shop and checked on the fighting hamsters. Also I have done 3 wash loads.

Actually, have been reading with dd4. Their new workbooks came from Amazon (very quickly I'm delighted to say) so have been having a look through them too. Just about to have some lunch, take dd1 to horseriding then will attempt to make a start on the house. Need to do weekly shop online too.
