Bread without holes

Does anyone have recommendations for a bread maker with a collapsible or removable paddle that doesn't leave holes in bread? Even if I remove the dough and then the paddle, there is still the "stalk" to contend with. It drives me mad!

Would you be happy to use it for mixing & proving then bung the ready dough into a tin and into the oven?

Yes; you get a much better loaf using the dough option and baking in the oven.

I can, and have done that. But I do like freshly baked bread made on a timer and ready for breakfast😇
