Does anyone do TOMM?

I've just bought and read Gemma Bray and her method of cleaning. Has anyone done this/do this method. Does it work?

At the moment we either do a one day full blitz or nothing for a while and the house ends up looking disgusting.

All help/tips most welcome

Also does anyone have any tips to remove water marks from shower doors?

So I’ve opted for clean sheet Wed as that works well for us.
Is it possible to clean 3 bedrooms and change the sheets on each bed in 30 mins? Or is the linen change extra?

I would say that’s a bit ambitious. Could probably do 1-2 in that time myself

To save time I:

  • use a flatsheet under the duvet on adult beds to save changing duvet cover often (I wouldn’t bother for kids beds as they would get tangled/single duvet covers less hassle to change

Can you rotate so you do a v quick pick up of all 3 & then clean each more thoroughly every 2-3 weeks? If not, it will be a matter of spending more time

Do all the sheets need changing every week or can you do every 2 weeks in winter etc

The aldi blue bathroom cleaner is really good for cleaning shower screens and keeping them limescale clear.
Or window cleaner with vinegar.

I thought so. I was hoping maybe there was some way that made it quicker. Wishful thinking! Grin I could just spend more time. I could decide to see linen change as and extra. Or do them on different days.

@Suspiciousmind20: whose bedrooms are they? If kids get them to do own tidying (maybe get storage bins/drawers to make it easy)

I expect you could wipe surfaces & give a quick hoover in that time as well as do beds (or get kids to strip/make if old enough), its tidying that takes ages

I’ve decided to do different bed linen changes on different days. Will work towards DC doing it. Am starting small and building up with that! It will happen though. Grin
