Bought a Samsung washing machine about 9 weeks ago.
Worked well until last Friday.
Started to leak around the detergent box.
Been trying to get it repaired and husband checked all connections,
outlets were tight/etc they are.
Spent hours with their so=called customer services.
Those that answer the phone are hard to understand possibly my problem as not understanding their accent but they are running through a mass of questions which we answered. Then you wait 30-40 minutes to speak to their "triage."
Bottom line they are saying i need to get the water pressure checked.
I told them my aunt lives next door has the same machine and is running fine as was ours until rencently then they cite our outlet pipe is about 30mm too short.
So i vae booked a plumber and spoken to several all state they dont think its the water pressure for sure but paying close to 100 quid for one to come out day after tomorrow. We've lived at this address for many yeears.
Husband spoke with washing machine repairs people they are all almost 100% certain its not the water presure and one lives the road next to us.
This is incredible - we keep our goods in good conditons and clean and service them.
If we had known Samsung aftersales was like this we would have never bought the 500 pound machine inc 5 yr warranty.
Sadly I did not read Trustpilot reviews re their after sales warranty etc - don't take my word for it, read trust pilot reviews.
The staff that answer the phone are only doing what higher up has told them so i dont blame them.
We will never again buy another Samsung product.
Just please do not take my word for it, read Samsung's reviews on Trustpilot etc. I thought we were just unlucky, we think not
Has anyone esle every expereince what we have ie been told to get the water pressure checked and send evidence of this? Sure you have to do certain checks but not pay someone to check the water pressure. Re water pressue, it has to be around 8 bar for it to be too high for the machine. We had a new boiler installed a few months ago were advised we had 2 bars.
