anyone got any good stain removal tips for beige carpet???

I have a light beige carpet in my lounge with a 17month old!! Not good mix. I use my bissel once a week and although it cleans the carpet lovely, there are a lot of dark stains (not sure what they are) all over the carpet. I have bought every single over counter removal, vanish, 1001 etc but they wont budge. Any suggestions??

M & S carpet wipes are brilliant.

Soebody suggested them to me before and they work really well.
