can you fly guys help? ... dyson carpet head sweeper doesn't..

hoover the carpet as it should...or much at all
(using one for flat floors atm)

I clean it out before using it (hair and gunk) but still doesnt seem to do the job, suction from hoover is fine

its a dyson cyclone btw..

can they be replaced?
repaired?

any ideas? tia

A friend of ours had this problem and fixed it by replacing the filter (I know this sounds counterintuitive, as you say that the suction from the hoover is fine, suspect that the suction from the hoover is greater with a new filter). Worth a try before doing anything more expensive.
