So we had two showers break down within weeks of each other, and somewhere while looking for spares/repairs I found that the maximum inlet temperature should be 65° to avoid damaging the shower workings. We turned the hot tank down to 65, and ever since have struggled with hot water - 1 bath or do some washing up and the rest of us are in for cold showers.
So what temperature do you run your hot tank and are your showers still working fine as a result ?! Or is there something else fundamentally wrong with our heating system.
