Robotic hoover advice

I'm looking at getting a robotic hoover after reading a thread here. Lots of people recommended one make but didn't say which particular one. My house is quite busy with 2DC and a very hair GSD who casts all year long. I'm really unsure which make and model to go with. Is there anyone with a similar household situation that could recommend one please. Thanks

I'm a woman on the verge as you were OP. We have wooden floors and rugs, would a robovac be ok on that? And also money no object due to recent windfall I am quickly allocating

@Davros I would recommend ecovacs, definitely. Watch some YouTube videos because there are better ecovacs than the one I bought.

Thanks so much. I feel ready to plunge! Now I'm worried about the mopping of the wooden floors...

We had a Neato for five years and have just replaced with eufy 15c. Very good value and imo better - quieter and smaller so gets under more furniture, gets stuck a LOT less.

You can also get ones that mop. If I knew how to add a video I would.

This is a picture of my carpet. I would say it's medium pile and the amount of dust it take out is amazing. I went over with my shark cordless once when ecovacs was finished and it picked up nothing.

Update folks. My new Eufy, called Lewis, is waiting to be unpacked and tried out this weekend. I can't do it now as I've brought DH for his booster jab and we are going out tonight. I'm going to give him my full attention tomorrow
