Morning everyone

I have all the kids at home today as there is an inset day.
I'm currently trying to catch the coalman.

I have a mum's night out tonight...a meal and drinks in one of the village pubs. CAN'T WAIT!!! I haven't been out for a long long time with the girls!

Right off to hovver by the back door and see if the coal man comes this way

I have a mums night out tonight too - a meal and drinks in a local pub too Looking forward to it, haven't been out for ages.

I have both kids at home today too - no inset day here though. Ds is looking very flushed and sleepy and ill, dd is just sleepy and says her tummy aches so I'm going to give them both a duvet day in the hope we can shake whatever's lurking.
I needed to go to work but obviously can't now - rather annoying as I left jobs yesterday ready to sort today but never mind, they can mostly wait till next week.

I'd like to try to get some FLYing done today so will give the kids their calpol and get them comfy then be back with a list.

Tort made me lol with Munchboxes (I think tyhey'll be known as that round here from now on )

Morning gang.

I've been really rubbish this week and I'm knackered today so it's not going to be any better - DS was up what seemed like all night last night. Ho hum. I think I might just write off this week and aim to kick off properly on Monday. Even my sink shining has gone .

Hello, hello, hello... whats's going on 'ere then? Get doing the missions you 'orrible lot!

I'm not saying that to you lovely FLYers, but to myself. Done NONE of the missions this week or the detailed clean. Puppy, bet you don't feel as bad now eh? lol

On a positive note, accounts are 99% complete. Have got the final expenses info so am going to input that and tie everything up before I take the girls out to their play/art group thing this mornng. Next week will get cracking in the house again.

Am getting my 'new' suite next Friday Got someone collecting mine the same morning so it will all be a bit hectic. Can't wait!

Morning all

DH is working from home today as the car is in for a service, so I am aiming to keep out of his way as he needs to use the dining table (the spare room is too cluttered and the desk is still in the loft)

Our aim is to move DS1 into the spare room, lose the double bed and pop the sofa bed and desk in, so that the boys do not realise that daddy is at home - a job for the new year.

Bianca and Luda enjoy your nights out - I have not been out since well I can not remember.

Puppy dont worry about a pants week, thats the beauty of flying you can pop in and out as required.

Now I am off to feed the little ones

bianca Hope you have a lovely evening. We are meeting at 7.30 I think, so I shall be ironing my trousers and having a nice long soak and maybe a glass of wine later this evening before I go!
What are you wearing? I'm opting for black trousers, brown long jumper/shirt (shirt collars and cuffs are sewn into the neck and sleeves IYSWIM)with a chunky belt, and brown boots. I have a glitter puff my dad bought me about 3 years ago, and have never used it, so I might make myself a bit glittery too ...well it is a christmas do!

Well I'm going to tidy this house, and do the piggles, so I can relax later.

bianca hope the kids are ok! I'm worried mine will be ill for DH tonight! Have a good sofa day, and dose them up with calpol, hopefully they will be ok

Morning Guys, DD up all night with earache so off to Drs in a bit.

Not sure who was asking - Tort's name might have been purple as you'd viewed her profile but no-one else's.

No housework done this week . Need to get DD1 better as off to ILs tomorrow and DD2's birthday on Sunday 1 already....

Luda I have no idea what to wear - must have a look in my wardrobe and have a look. I have lots of nice clothes but they're mostly too big for me now ( but ) The new bits I've bought are very much everyday kind of stuff rather than suitable for a night out...
Gibberish PLease feel free to be stern with me today, I must catch up with some of the more horrible jobs - cupboards need sorting etc.

Dd decided at the last minute that she did feel like going to school so I rushed her in. She's not poorly just a little over-tired after a busy week.
Ds is really quite poorly poor little man and has gone back to sleep in my bed I've given him the first dose of antibiotics so hopefully they'll kick in quickly and we'll see some progress.

Right, I'm going to finish my morning routine and then think through my list for the rest of the day.

thanks Luda I have no other trousers which fit so jeans will have to do...I'm going to empty the wardrobe now and re-load it all neatly That way I can be with ds who is awake and tearful again

I have a mums night out tommorrow (but its at (sob!) a club .. I've bought this skirt which I was going to wear with opaques, heels (gulps) and a black 3/4 sleeve wrap top .. Is that too mumsy ?.. I'd like to think its a bit Nigella as due to NOT losing that stone I am (ahem) curvy ATM (must remember to sew a dot on the cleavage otherwise I'll be Nigella in the taxi with my boobs spilling out

Someone tell me what to do. It is Great Nanny's funeral today and I can't stop thinking about her. (Not that I want too.)
The kids and I can't go (kids not invited) so hubby going on his own.

Its natural and right you're thinking about her, have a be kind to yourself day, sod the cleaning (unless you really really want to do it) and have a big cuddle on the sofa with a bar of chocolate the kids and a nice film.

NAB give yourself an easy day today. If you need to have a day rememebering Great Nanny then give yourself some time and to hell with the houseowrk.

Yadda That skirt is lovely, very nice and has reminded me I have a black wrap top which would prob still fit me with a very similar flower pattern on...I'm going to dig it out and see how it looks with smart jeans..might be too black and I think my black trousers are way too big to wear with it... Mums night out to a club sounds a bit scary - I haven't set foot in a club for over 10 years!

I am soooo glad our isn't at a club...I too haven't been in one for way too many years! I'd be scared LOL!

OK, black wrap top is too formal so can't wear that. Have now emptied the entire contents of my wardrobe on to the bedroom floor and am rather enjoying filtering through Don't much like the mess though but will enjoy having a tidy colour-coded wardrobe once I'm finished
