On a bit of a whim, slightly regretting it buuuut i know i won't when it arrives. 4 weeks is estimated delivery.
I have bought some lovely bedding from argos but i really want to splurge and get some nice, comfy (expensive) bedding from somwhere. Any ideas? Thanks!

I had a lovely grey waffle bedspread and matching cushions from Dusk then I just buy plain white duvet sets from George or matalan as you barely see any of the duvet cover under the bedspread. Keeps the cost down for me as SK bedding ends up costing a fortune.

I love my super king bed. I have a goose duvet which is a light tog and covers from the White Company (their cheaper range, I think it’s called Essential). If I fancy a pattern I put on an Orla Kiely cover; they are expensive but a lovely fine texture.

Bellabelloo · 30/09/2021 20:42

White Company here too!

I love our Superking SO much. My 'best' bedding is from Joules (sale) but I've found Dunelm and George to be good too.

Girlintheframe · 30/09/2021 20:52

I just got a joules cotton duvet cover. It's god mallards on it. It's lovely

Girlintheframe · 30/09/2021 20:53

*got

Thanks to @Noonoo8589 I've just spend £80 at Dusk Grin all stuff from the clearance section so feels like a bargain...

Washeduponthebeach · 01/10/2021 08:55

I’m in the same position to watching with interest!

washingfiasco · 01/10/2021 11:24

Going to have a look at a few websites later. Thanks for all the recommendationsGrin

Another vote for Joules bedding. We also have separate single electric blankets so no arguing over the temperature of the bed.

bouncydog · 01/10/2021 17:07

M&S Egyptian cotton 600 tc is fab. Next also have a 600tc. Sheridans is fabulous but not exactly the cheapest.

Roselilly36 · 05/10/2021 07:32

Enjoy, we are on our second SK bed, love it. So much space, the only problem is when you go on hols the bed seems so small!

P0ntiacBandit · 05/10/2021 07:37

M&S have a sale on. I picked up a super king Duvet cover for 19 or 20 pounds in store. Maybe give that a try? Also, Joules are fantastic.

BruceAndNosh · 05/10/2021 07:45

2 single duvets on a SKS bed.
Game changer.

You're welcome

PersonaNonGarter · 05/10/2021 07:47

TK Maxx is great for bedding

Me too! I went for the Oxford super king set and I am very pleased about this!
Watercoloursky · 05/10/2021 08:04

Love our superking!! I wouldn't change it for anything - though, be warned, you'll notice the difference when you travel/stay somewhere else that doesn't have one, a normal double feels really cramped now! ('get back on your side!'... 'I am on my side!'). We buy our bedding from Dunelm, they have some really lovely designs, and it's not expensive if you catch them during a sale.

GoWalkabout · 05/10/2021 08:15

If you can stretch to get your duvet a size up then its REALLY worth it, we have superking on a king bed.

We do that.
Divebar2021 · 06/10/2021 09:31

Keep an eye out in TK Maxx. They don’t have as many options as the king size but you can sometimes pick up a bargain. I buy individual pillowcases there to contrast with my plain covers. I would like some linen bedding from Piglet which is ££££ but when I was in H&M home I did see they did a range of linen bedding ( nice home wear all round actually ) I also like the Hotel collection from Dunelm.
