Mould and Sofa

Hi. We live in a Victorian house and the ventilation isn't great. I've lifted the cushions on my sofa and have seen that there are some mould patches there 😞 I can take the covers off to be dry cleaned, however I need to treat the cushions themselves. Any tips how I can do this please?

Thanks in advance 😊

I don't know..but are you sorting the damp?

Polycell make a 3 in 1 mould killing spray. You spray it on, then wait, then wipe off. It has an anti-mould component that helps prevent regrowth. I only mention it because it is bleach free. Normally you could just use bleach but not sure if your sofa fabric can withstand bleach.

Gas fires produce moisture - in case you are using one. But gas boilers moisture is vented outside.
