Tough stains on cooker

What do you use to get rid of the toughest stains on your gas cooker? There was a period of time when I was pretty much bed ridden with the flu, DH then had it and DD too. Even after recovery I couldn't find the energy to clean it. One thing led to another and now I'm ashamed to let anyone see my kitchen because the cooker is such a state What would work best at making it look decent again? I've tried degreasers, metal scourers etc but they only make the smallest difference. Please help

Boiling water and fairy liquid will pretty much shift anything on a hob. Inside a cooker, Mr Muscle (may take a couple of goes).

@sarahlou63 how long do you keep it on for before wiping it off? The inside is spotless because it doesn't work! 😂

Dribble the fairy liquid over the hob (not too much), pour boiling water on and just leave it until the water is cool enough to touch then just wipe it off. Taa-daah!!

Lakeland oven cleaner is the mutts nuts !
No nasty smell
Buy the kit , it comes with gloves, a brush to apply it or just a bottle and rubber gloves and a sponge / kitchen roll.
Spread it on , go and do another hard task like MNing and having a brew
Wipe it of about 30 mins later.

Don't get it on your skin, it is quite harsh.

A combination of the pink stuff and a dishwasher tablet and a Brillo pad

Ciff cream cleaner
Brillo pads I use Tesco own
Elbow grease
Hot water and washing up liquid
Any one of these products should work.
The trick is to leave the product on for a good 5 minutes then scrub. You might need to repeat a few times.

Dont get it on the Mutts Nuts , he wont appreciate it at all but it is very good stuff
