Cleaning lino which has a grain?!

We have lovely new cream lino in the downstairs toilet but it has quite a grain to it which is pricing really hard to properly clean! Can anyone recommend anything that might help?

Oh, I’m not sure-maybe it’s vinyl! What is good for cleaning vinyl?

Very unlikely to be Lino if it’s been laid recently.
I use method ready diluted liquid

I didn’t realise there was a difference!

I have the Method almond floor cleaner and it doesn’t seem to touch the dirt in the grain, unfortunately.

Damp mop. Rub Cif over going with the grain. Mop off with something nice and smelly!.

We’ve got this vinyl. It’s so irritating. You’d know if you had Lino as you’d have to g we t someone special to lay it and you’d smell the linseed.
The only way I can clean ours properly is with a bucket of Flash, an old fashioned cotton floor cloth and on my hands and knees. Ridiculous!

Is that the Cif cream cleaner?

We used to have pale wood effect vinyl with a grain to it. The only way I found to clean it was on hands and knees with a scrubbing brush. Not fun.

Oh, I had vinyl like this. Never again, it was so hard to clean.

The Cif might be a good tip though!

This. We have it in the bathroom and it's an absolute pain. Floor cleaner, a stiff bristle brush and a lot of elbow grease is the only way ours looks even half decent.

Never again!
