Help with lightbulbs

I'm trying to work out what bulbs I can replace my old halogens with. I've discovered that I can swap them with LEDs but all the numbers are confusing me. I don't know which ones are most important and have a vague inkling that if one number (watts?) on the new bulb is higher than the existing, then it can be dangerous.

The existing halogen bulb says 40w, 240v, 300lm, 2800k and 30° Oh, I should probably say they're GU10 bulbs. I've found GU10 LED bulbs but they say 5w 220-240v 450lm 2700k 100°

Are they ok to use does anyone know, or should I be looking for the exact same numbers? How is something so simple confusing me so much! 🤔🙂

It's the lumens that you look at now as that gives the brightness level. The Watts are the power they use.

The ones you are looking at say 450lm so may be a little brighter than your existing 300lm ones

Don't know if this helps

Thanks @dementedpixie that helps a lot. I think I know what I'm doing now.

Embarrassingly, my friend has done all this kind of stuff for the last god knows how long. He did all the house stuff, including renovation and I cooked for him and did his paperwork for his self employed work. He's now found a girlfriend who has banned him from seeing me (nothing sexual between us 🤢 Strictly platonic for 15ish years) so I am suddenly having to learn to be an adult 😁
