Morning mission

wow you have all been busy.

we had a lovley time at the garden centre - it gave me the motivation to get our tree and decs up. So that is all done and I have swept up all the mess.

I have put the tree in the window behind a sofa as DS2 keeps taking the baubles off and using them as balls - LOL

we are going to have dinner and then go round in the dark againas it looks like more people lave put outside lights up.

DH is going to put up our icicle lights on friday lunchtime as he is working from home on fri as the car needs servicing (more money)

Just had a falling out with some neighbours. Dd and her friend have Rainbows this eve and were going to be driven there by a neighbour who also has a dd who goes along to Rainbows. Rainbows starts at 6pm in a hall about 10/15 minutes drive away so I serve up supper at 5pm thinking we'd walk along to neighbours at 5.40ish ready to go. Then I get a very frantic phone call at 5.15 from neighbours asking where on earth we are as they have to leave now as it's a long drive to Rainbows and they don't want to be late! Kids have to bolt down hot supper and race out the door - we arrive at neighbours at about 5.25 (pretty fast eating for 6 year olds I think) and I get met with a very stoney reception and mutterings of how late we are wish I'd driven them myself now....Hope they calm down by the time they drop the girls home again.

Ho hum...shouldn't let it bother me but these things do unfortunatly.

Oh dear Bianca. Hope she has calmed down later. Bit odd to leave so early. I think i would of said they are still eating, i will take them!

DC are watching the santa clause.
Saving the 3rd one for xmas eve because we haven't seen it before.

Thanks Tort I did explain they were eating and so we just got there as soon as we could. I'm past worrying already! Lol
My kids like The Santa Clause, don't have 2 or 3 though (didn't even knwo they exsisted!)If you're on MSN later could you talk me through sorting you out some CDs?

House is looking fairly straight tonight. Anthea Turners book arrived today so I hope to have a nice warm bath later and read all about how to be a perfect housewife

Just back from work again. Collected Ed. Paid the childminder, got home, completed my time sheet so I get paid got paid for 2 weeks ago and sat down to work out wether it's worth working or not (it is, just) but it will be better when Ed's at full time school

Actually it's great to be working, great to feel well enough to do a few hours a week and great to feel I'm doing some good - employing a childminder, using the skills I picked up on various courses and getting a bit of extra cash in to spend on the family and myself.

So today aside from painting, reading stories, gluing, serving lunch, tidying up (lots! FLYing has really helped there)and serving tea I've :-

Vacced the front room
Organised laundry
Errh, that's about it

Finnished flying, feeling shattered. Mums is at the hospital tomorrow first thing for her blood pressure and pre op checks, then she needs to be in for 8am on Tuesday

Looks like wii will be delivered. Makes it a lot easier for me. Its about an hour by train i think. I am getting excited now. DS's think i still can't get one anywhere!

Hope everyone is getting sorted for Christmas!

i have been flying really well this week-house is very clean, but it is all a ploy to avoid going Christmas shopping and so now I am behnd, and going to NYC on Saturday and am not sorted and when we get back it's only 10 days away! Yikes can feel panic attack coming on!
Anyway sorry I haven't been around much, need an earlyish night as NIGHTMare day at work tomorrow-only one in as been off rest of week.
