Hi all
We sent our house and of the set of the bathroom is anything to go by our shower tray is 20 years old.

It gets mouldy really easily and I can't get the mould out of the dimples easily. It's an an suit so no window but I use the extractor fan and open the door after the fact is off to let the fresh air in.

Any ideas?

Does the extractor fan actually work? Sometimes they arent set up to vent properly.

Try wiping down the shower tray after each use with a microfiber cloth, and regularly sterilise with Milton.

Thanks! No idea if it's extracting properly but will try the cloth!

You can slow down the build up of mould significantly by using "daily shower spray" after each use. It will still come back eventually but it will triple the length of time before you snap and feel compelled to do a deep clean.

I use dettol mould and mildew spray in ours. I spray and leave, the mould just vanishes (I rinse before I next have a shower). It’s like a miracle.

It’s bleached based so just need to be careful not to get it on your clothes or towels.

Try hg mould spray, its really strong but it’s it’s amazing stuff.
