Weekly

Spidermama · 06/12/2007 20:55

Daily Joash.

You're washing sheets as if we had twelve planet earths and all the natural resources which go with them.

Spidermama · 06/12/2007 20:56

Hardly ever.

NomDePlume · 06/12/2007 20:57

Main bed - Weekly

Kids beds - Fortnightly in summer, closer to every 3 weeks in winter

WashSantasRedSuitErsaurus · 06/12/2007 20:59

Ours get washed when they start to smell or I spot DS' bogeys stuck to them...otherwise they get washed every 2-3 weeks

Spidermama · 06/12/2007 21:00

LOL. This is more like it. Now I feel vaguely normal again.

preggersagain · 07/12/2007 10:11

total bed changes happen weekly for us and the kids, i have clean, ironed and starched pillowcases changed an extra two times a week- cleaner thinks i'm bonkers but feels so nice to have crisp pillowcases

Highlander · 10/12/2007 19:52

every week.

bozza · 10/12/2007 20:20

Fortnightly on Fridays. Ours one week, the kids the other week. Occasionally miss a week at which point it becomes 3 weeks. Actually might start putting DC's pillow cases in with ours because they tend to get a bit grotty.

Anna8888 · 10/12/2007 20:28

At least once a week.

captainmummy · 10/12/2007 20:32

I have 3 boys and aim to change one of the beds a week. Although, we are waiting for new carpet in ds2's bedroom, so, as he is getting our old bed when the carpet is down, I havent bothered with his bedsheets for a while... (also as we are getting a new bed when he has ours and the carpet is down, I haven't done ours either...)... Aren't these christmassy emos good?

VanillaPumpkin · 10/12/2007 20:36

I am rubbish at remembering to do this. I aim for every two, but it is usually three.
How many sets of bedding do you have you more than once a week changers? We have two sets for each bed.
I should manage it more often because although I strip and wash and iron DH makes the bed as our mattress is so heavy.

norkmaiden · 10/12/2007 20:38

usually every other week, as long as I remember!

hifi · 10/12/2007 20:45

dh is a sweaty b so tues and fri flat and top and pillow cases, duvets, cushions etc bi-weekly because of dd the little love.cleaner does it and manages linen cupboard, i do all the hard work of washing it.

bozza · 10/12/2007 23:21

We have two sets for our bed which is pure cotton and takes longer to dry. But only one set each (do have spares but not necessarily matching to the decor) for the DC which are out of Next and dry in a couple of hours max just hung over the banisters. So I can strip the beds when they get up and have them made up again by lunchtime without a dryer in winter.
