Steam cleaner on laminate floor?

I acidently left steam cleaner on laminate floor when answering the door..! So , the glue melted and its raised up a bit.
Going forward, I will no do that again! My question is ,is it actually ok to use a floorsteam cleaner on a laminate floor? Never had one before and its great but feel should check now !

No. DSis used a steam cleaner on her laminate (didn’t even leave it on it) and it did all lift after a few times.

No, they can't be used on laminate.
