Best way to clean white spirit off kitchen sink/draining board?

Hi

My landlord's round replacing the grouting around my kitchen sink. He's been using white spirit and spilled it all over the sink/draining board.

When he's gone, how do I best clean it up so it is gone and safe to use for food/drying plates?

He's also rubbed it into the work surface next to the sink too. Why?!!

I would use lots of clothes and hot soapy water. Then wash all the clothes separately from anything else.
